The European Union is grateful to Turkey for refusing to allow Iraqi, Syrian and Yemeni nationals onboard flights to Minsk.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from EU Council President Charles Michel.

It should be noted that Turkish Airlines has banned the citizens of the country from boarding flights to Minsk since yesterday. The ban was announced due to the migrant crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border.
